Kazuma Okamoto now owns a Toronto Blue Jays milestone. He struck out for the 171st time this season on Friday. That tops every single-season strikeout total ever recorded by the club. The game came in Toronto versus the Baltimore Orioles on September 11. It was scarcely the mark he wanted. Okamoto smashed his 31st home run in that contest. Strikeouts are not a positive for a batter. Sportsnet and Yahoo Sports reported the feat. The Blue Jays hosted the Orioles that night.
