Ticketmaster's president has admitted to "stuck transfers" following a ticket delivery failure last Friday, raising new concerns over the company's reliability. A separate report used the incident to highlight the risk that comes with depending on a single ticketing platform.
The trouble comes as a reseller listing a Bruno Mars ticket said she was taken by surprise by the fees Ticketmaster tacked onto her listed price. Rival SeatGeek, meanwhile, launched TourIQ, a forecasting tool aimed at live event sellers, positioning itself as an alternative at a time when faith in Ticketmaster is slipping.
