Laika Studios' stop-motion film 'Wildwood' received great reviews, but the studio experienced a challenging time at the box office. The movie, created by Travis Knight, took over a decade to produce, was called a masterpiece. Even with good feedback, Laika had trouble turning praise into ticket sales. The film was a success in its animation, but its commercial performance was not great.
